2.      Provide a brief description of the presenting problem
to the clinical staff of New Beginnings.

3.      New Beginnings clinical staff will schedule an appointment
with the potential resident as soon as possible.

(The initial assessment will be completed over the phone.)

4.      Upon completion of the initial assessment by the

clinical staff of New Beginnings and if the individual

 is determined to be appropriate for admission,
the referral source will be contacted

 in a timely manner to discuss disposition.

5.      When an individual is deemed ineligible for admission,
the reasons for refusal are explained

 and alternatives for treatment are discussed
with the individual and or family as appropriate.

6.      Upon determination  for admission, the Business Office Manager
will set a time discuss the fees and

make the financial arrangements as appropriate.
(This stage can also be done over the phone.)
